Antepost punters have turned their attention to the 2010 Cheltenham Festival as the New Year has seen new odds in some of the meeting’s biggest races.
Paul Nicholls’ superstar duo Denman and Master Minded have both been backed heavily with leading bookmaker Coral, for the Totesport Gold Cup and Queen Mother Champion Chase respectively.
The firm admitted they had received a substantial bet on the pair and as a result, Denman is now 7/4 to retain his crown while Master Minded is 6/4 to taste more Champion Chase glory.
Coral spokesman Simon Clare told Cheltenhampro: "With just the one domestic fixture at Wolverhampton, it has been very quiet in our shops today, but surprisingly it has been one of our busiest days of ante-post betting we have had since the start of the jump season."
