Arkle Trophy contender Somersby will have his next outing over fences in the middle of next month.
The talented five-year-old, third in last season's Supreme Novices' Hurdle, is two from two over the larger obstacles and took the notable scalp of Crack Away Jack in the Henry VIII Novices' Chase at Sandown at the start of December.
"Somersby is in good form and we are looking to give him another run in the middle of January somewhere," said Knight.
"There is a race at Kempton on the 16th that we will have a look at. It's not a graded race but we just want to get more experience into him.
"There are also a couple of races at Newbury as well and we will have to keep our options open with the way the weather is at the moment."
