Every March, the nation is swept away by horse racing fever as gamblers and racing fanatics prepare to embark on an unrivalled path of excitement. Fans of the sport travel from far and wide to be there to witness the action first hand and the greatest horses from either side of the Irish Sea descend on Prestbury Park to prove they are ready to join some of the greatest jump horses of all time on the Festival roll of honour.

Each year the Cheltenham Festival can expect to welcome over 200,000 racegoers from all over the world who head to the course safe in the knowledge that the action is sure to be explosive, exhilarating and thoroughly intriguing.

With it believed that more than £500 million will be gambled throughout the week, most of racing’s shrewdest punters use the four days to pulverise the bookmakers and land some of their biggest gambles of the year, while inexperienced punters arrive at Cheltenham just hoping that they can be there to cheer home a winner on racing’s greatest stage.
