Neptune Collonges won the 2012 Grand National in the closest finish in the history of the race.
Daryl Jacobs produced a fantastic drive on the Paul Nicholls's trained Neptune Collonges to pip Sunnyhillboy in a photo finish and return odds of 33/1.
Sunnyhillboy looked like the winner after the final fence and traded at 1/33 in running but the 16/1 chance ran ut of steam up the finish at Aintree and was just beaten by on the run in.
The gamble of the race was on Seabass, ridden by Katie Walsh, and the horse traveled well but finished third with Cappa Bleu coming fourth. The fifth placed horse was 100/1 shot In Compliance and
bet365 paid out on each way bets on Seabass.
