Nicky Henderson has one eye on Cheltenham as three of his high-class stable stars returned from their excursions at Kempton on Boxing Day in fine form.

French import Long Run could not have been more impressive on his British debut with an eye-catching display in the Feltham Chase while Binocular and Barbers Shop were third in the Christmas Hurdle and King George VI Chase respectively.

The trainer does admit, however, that Binocular continues to frustrate him.  He explained: "Long Run was fine this morning, and very much unperturbed by his experience," said the Seven Barrows trainer.

"Barbers Shop is fine and Binocular is particularly good.

"He was a very happy person this morning, unlike he was after Newcastle. It's taking time but I think he'll come - you haven't seen him yet this season. I don't know why."
