Paddy Power has decided to pay out on Ruby Walsh to be the leading rider at the Cheltenham Festival after he once again showed his brilliance in the saddle to win this afternoon's World Hurdle on Big Buck's. Y
esterday he notched up a magnificent treble on Mikael D'Haguenet in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle, Cooldine in the RSA Chase and the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase on Master Minded.
His overall tally is five victories now as he was also on board Quevega when the five-year-old skated in in Tuesday's final event, the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle.
Paddy Power spokesman Paddy Power said:
"We're paying out about £50,000 on Ruby as top jockey but this is almost irrelevant as to what the little fecker has cost us this week. You'd want to be adding a few zeros to that figure"
