John Quinn is looking forward to the Cheltenham Festival and the trainer believes he could have two live contenders on his hands in the shape of Recession Proof and Moonlight Drive.
Recession Proof caught the eye of ante post punters when he landed the totesport Trophy at Newbury last time out and a performance packed with slick jumping saw him shoot to the forefront of the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle market.
Equally, Moonlight Drive bolted up at Wetherby ahead of a tilt at the Albert Bartlett and Quinn explained: "Both Recession Proof and Moonlight Drive are pleasing me ahead of Cheltenham next week. Recession Proof is bouncing after his win at Newbury and we won't be running scared of anything come the curtain raiser for the week. That's not to say I don't respect several others in the race, it's just I have great faith in our lad.
"Moonlight Drive could well be a forgotten horse in the Albert Bartlett Hurdle. His work at home since his win at Wetherby has been good and I have no doubt he has improved since it...he will need to though!
"Whatever happens at Cheltenham he will be a very exciting horse to send novice chasing next year."
