Total totepool turnover at Cheltenham this afternoon was down 5% at £2,331,173 on the second day of the Festival compared to £2,459,037 in 2010.
The totejackpot was not won at Cheltenham this afternoon which leaves a rollover of £74,164 going into tomorrow’s meeting.
“Poor results for punters this afternoon meant that the majority of punters had little joy on the second day of the Festival but totepool turnover is still well up at the halfway point of the meeting,” said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
The turnover on the toteplacepot stood at £918,439 and with plenty of fancied horses finishing unplaced, the dividend was a healthy £933.20.
