Stan James have announced that they have secured the sponsorship of the opening race at the 2011 Cheltenham Festival, the Stan James Supreme Novices' Hurdle.
The firm now have a stranglehold on the first day of the world’s most prestigious race meeting with the Gibraltar-based company also sponsoring the Stan James Champion Hurdle.
This year’s Stan James Supreme Novices’ Hurdle looks set to feature 2010 Champion Bumper hero Cue Card who will be looking to make it back-to-back successes at the meeting.
