The Coral Cup is one of the most frightening races of the Festival when it comes to picking a winner and there are sure to be plenty of hard luck stories emerging from the race.
Last year’s winner Carlito Brigante (16/1, Paddy Power
) returns to defend his crown and Gordon Elliott’s six-year-old brings some high class form to the table. He is likely to run a huge race after a recent run on the Flat will have blown away the cobwebs and market leader Balgarry (8/1, Coral
) looks sure to be in the mix for trainer David Pipe.
However, Cheltenham Festival bridesmaid GET ME OUT OF HERE
) can finally get his head in front at the meeting, following seconds in the 2010 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and the 2011 County Hurdle.
The selection was last seen chasing home Zarkandar in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury and if Darlan hadn’t have hampered him close home, that might have been a race he’d have won.
Very talented on his day, Get Me Out Of Here can shake off his 4lb rise in the weights and run a massive race with Tony McCoy in the saddle.
