Lightning Strike has secured his trip to the Cheltenham Festival with victory in the novices' chase at Leicester.
Venetia Williams sent the six-year-old to the festival last year when he finished a creditable sixth in the Ballymore Properties Novices' Hurdle.
His attentions will be switched to fences this time and he warmed up for the RSA Chase with an exhibition round under Aidan Coleman.
He had little to beat after Jaunty Flight was pulled out and the 8/13 favourite popped round to atone for his third-place finish at Kempton two weeks ago.
The on form Lightning strike is currently priced at 50/1 from William Hill to win the RSA Chase.
