Coral today cut the odds on Paul Nicholls' two leading contenders for the Cheltenham Festival novice chases - What A Friend and Tatenen - in the face of substantial ante post support for the pair.
What A Friend is clear 5-1 favourite from 6-1 for the RSA Chase with Coral who clipped Tatenen to 5-1 favourite from 11-2 for the Arkle Trophy.
"With the four feature races dominated by short priced favourites it is no surprise to see ante post punters starting to focus on the supporting races like the Arkle and RSA Chase with increased vigour", said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.
"Paul Nicholls has spoken enthusiastically about the chances of both Tatenen and What A Friend in recent days and punters don't need a second invitation to back leading contenders from the Ditcheat operation", added Clare.
In other market moves Coral clipped Karabak in to 5-1 from 6-1 for the Ballymore.
