The feature race of the second day at the Cheltenham Festival, the Queen Mother Champion Chase determines who is the best chaser in the two mile chasing division.

A small and select field often goes to post but the field is high class and the last two years has seen the race dominated by Paul Nicholls’ superstar Master Minded.

One of the most impressive festival performances of all time saw Master Minded ease to success in 2009, before he made it back-to-back Champion Chase victories in 2009.

The question on everybody’s lips this year is whether or not he will recover from a rib injury to bid for a hat-trick in the race.

Master Minded remains the 7/4 favourite for Wednesday's feature and if he were to get there in one piece it is hard to see him going off anything bigger than that.  Twist Magic, Kalahari King and Forpadydeplasterer are next best, rated 8/1 shots by the Magic Sign.
