Time For Rupert was reported to have worked well in a pre-Cheltenham Festival workout on Friday.
Jockey Will Kennedy rode the talented chaser in a key piece of work ahead of his tilt at the RSA Chase and the ante post favourite seems to have impressed his rider.
The seven year-old finished second to Big Buck’s in the World Hurdle at last year’s Cheltenham Festival and has looked a classy recruit to the chasing division after two wide margin successes at HQ this season.
Kennedy has been on board Time For Rupert on all thirteen of his starts and he said: "Just rode Rupert in his last bit of work on the grass and he worked really well. A little schooling session one day next week and then the RSA. He looks a million dollars."
The news will no doubt delight trainer Paul Webber and owners, the Littlecote Racing Partnership.
