One of the Cheltenham Festival's leading bookies have paid out on Big Buck’s landing the 2011 World Hurdle, three weeks before the horses even go to post for the race.
Boylesports have clearly decided that victory for the superstar is a formality and while they will continue to take money on Paul Nicholls’ dual World Hurdler winning the race for a third time, they are happy to reward backers of the horse at this early stage.
The news comes as even more of a surprise with talented hurdler Grand Crus arriving on the scene with many people believing that the Cleeve Hurdle winner could get the better of Big Buck’s next month.
With the likes of Mourad, Karabak and Oscar Whisky also set to line up in the race, Big Buck’s will have to be at his very best at the world’s most prestigious race meeting.
