Big Buck’s and Grand Crus remain on course for their highly anticipated clash in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival next Thursday.

Big Buck’s will be in search of a remarkable third consecutive success in the race and the unbeaten staying hurdler remains one of the shortest priced runners at the Festival.

Paul Nicholls confirmed his wellbeing on Friday afternoon but there remain plenty of punters who think that David Pipe’s Grand Crus could bring an end to the champion’s domination in the race.

The Cleeve Hurdle winner has been backed like defeat isn’t an option in recent weeks and there will be some disappointed ante post players if he fails to land a blow in the feature.

Willie Mullins’ pair of Mourad and Fiveforthree were also confirmed for the race, while Zaynar and Celestial Halo could realistically take a hand in the finish.
