Daly's rejuvenated nine-year-old Mighty Man, who has been sidelined since Punchestown in 2007, galloped about a mile and a half with stable companion Boomerang.
Mighty Man, runner up in the 2007 World Hurdle at Cheltenham, was partnered by Richard Johnson.
Johnson said: "We are very happy with Mighty Man - you would not know there had been anything wrong with him.
"When you saw him walking around before, you could see he is a horse who loves being at a racehorse.
The Greystoke trainer said: "They looked good coming swinging down the straight here and I hope they look that good in two weeks' time."
You can bet on Mighty Man to win the World Hurdle in 2009 with Stan James at massive 50/1 odds. Meanwhile the favourite for the race Kasbah Bliss is available at 11/8 from Ladbrokes.
