The Pertemps Final is a contest designed for horses who have been successful in various qualifiers during the season who then clash in the final at the Cheltenham Festival.
A race full of surprises, it is not unusual for the Pertemps to be won by a rank outsider and as a result, punters are advised to treat the form with some caution.
Run over three miles, it attracts alot of Irish interest and any gambles in the build-up to the r ave should be noted.
