Diamond Harry is back on course for the 2012 Cheltenham Gold Cup at next month's Cheltenham Festival.
The nine-year-old was last seen finishing fifth behind Midnight Chase in the Argento Chase at Cheltenham and jockey Noel Fehily was quick to tell trainer Nick Williams that he believed the horse was suffering from breathing difficulties.
After the problem was sorted, owner Paul Duffy explained: "The operation went OK and he's recovered well. It was just a minor wind op on his soft palette.
"He's back doing a bit of walking. I know he's had his preparation interrupted but he wouldn't have been doing that much at that stage.
"Obviously we won't know for sure if it's worked but we're going to have a go at the Gold Cup."
Meanwhile, Long Run and Kauto Star remain the two clear favourites for the Gold Cup as followers of Grand Crus continue to wonder whether the superstar will be aimed at the RSA Chase or Friday's more lucrative feature.
