Dream Could Go For The Double

- 9 Mar 2009

Dave's Dream is a massive market mover for Friday's County Hurdle, after trainer Nicky Henderson stated that he was 'one degree' closer to running him following his victory in the Imperial Cup at Sandown last Saturday.

Dave's Dream was already well fancied for the race, however ante-post backers were unsure of investing following Nicky Henderson's indecision. His latest indications towards his participation in the race however, has meant that many bookmakers have shortened his price, including Paddy Power who go as short as 5/1.

Although favouring a run however, Henderson did point out that it is 'not a certainty' and that he will not run him 'purely for the bonus', the bonus being £75,000 for the winner of the Imperial Cup to win at Cheltenham.
