More Of That and No More Heroes are set for a fascinating duel in the RSA Chase on day two of the 2016 Cheltenham Festival.

This pair of exciting novices head a field of eight for a contest in which the winner has gone on to land the Cheltenham Gold Cup the following season three times within the last decade – Denman, Bobs Worth and Lord Windermere achieving the double.

Gigginstown House Stud will be hoping that record can be further enhanced, firstly with last year’s RSA Chase winner Don Poli this week and then with another horse they own, No More Heroes trained by Gordon Elliott.

Of the seven-year-old, who has won all of his three starts over fences, Elliott said:
“He’s favourite but I’m not sure he should be. More Of That is a World Hurdle winner and has won five out of five at Cheltenham, but when there's a horse like that in the race it takes a bit of pressure off me.
“The ground won't be an excuse for him. He's not the biggest horse in the world but he's big enough. Sometimes with big horses it's hard to keep them sound but he's just the perfect size, he's a little ball and he jumped beautifully last time at Leopardstown.
“He's a stayer but not slow either, jumping is his game and I think Cheltenham will suit him.”

More Of That lowered the colours of Annie Power when he won the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival two years ago and has been beaten only once in his career so far, when third at Newbury in November 2014 after which he was absent for nearly 12 months.

But Jonjo O’Neill’s lightly-raced eight-year-old has scored on both his starts over fences at Cheltenham with something to spare.

The familiar maroon and white colours of the Gigginstown House Stud will also be carried by one of two Willie Mullins representatives, Roi Des Francs, while the all-conquering Irish trainer also runs Shaneshill.

The field is completed by Blaklion from the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard, Paul Nicholls’ Le Mercurey, Nicky Henderson’s Vyta Du Roc and Seeyouatmidnight, a three-time winner for Berwickshire trainer Sandy Thomson.
