Seventeen go to post for the Triumph Hurdle and it looks set to be normal service resumed for the market principals after Countrywide Flame’s 33/1 success twelve months ago.

Irish raider Our Conor (10/3, Blue Square) will be well supported in the opener and his annihilation of Dikali (14/1, BetVictor) last time out was certainly impressive.  He will be bidding to improve Ireland’s dreadful record in the Triumph and it’d be no surprise to see him add another one to their tally.

However, ROLLING STAR (4/1, 888Sport) has always been highly regarded by the Henderson team and he can justify his lofty reputation with a victory on Friday.

The selection was snapped up as soon as he got off the mark over hurdles in Auteuil and he put up a classy performance when he blitzed past Irish Saint in the Triumph trial at Cheltenham in January.  That looks very good form and the selection clearly has plenty more in his locker.

Far West (5/1, William Hill) arrives after four consecutive victories, but it could be that Vasco Du Ronceray (25/1, Ladbrokes) gives his stablemate most to worry about.  He has always travelled like a supremely talented horse and with Ricou in the saddle and a hood now fitted, he could run a big race.

Nick Wilby’s selection – Rolling Star (NAP) (4/1, 888Sport)
