16.00 The Foxhunter Chase

One of the oldest races at the whole Festival, the Foxhunter Chase is one of the most sought after races in the hunter chase division and worth a total of £40,000, it is the richest and most prestigious chase of the whole season.

It is always fiercely contested and all the top stables from UK and Ireland are represented in the field.

Run over three miles two furlongs, it often goes the way of an experienced chaser who loves to attack his fences when racing.
